Phat! It is like a clap only much more violent, only not on the hand but on the cheek, only not as resonant because the hand hits a soft fleshy portion that is filled with veins and blood which causes the sound to snip abruptly, only not as happy but filled with venomous hatred and anger, only not as gentle on the skin of your palm, but leaves behind a sting that spreads slowly like a ripple all over the side of your face... the sharp pain at the center and the buzz of the hurt resonating all across... a hot pain, until the face feels burning with heat... a rush of blood... a burst of emotion...It's almost like a clap, only without using two hands, but one hand and a cheek, two people, four white marks of fingers on the face, and an act etched forever on memory walls.
